Due to the impending impact weather predictions for the scheduled date, the decision as been made to set a rain date of August 28 for the Show n Shine portion of this event.
If passengers may reschedule their tickets by emailing [email protected].
We'll still be set up for cars that choose to cruise in on the original date (June 19), along with our food and sweets vendors: D's Soul Food & Pastries and Gimme Some Sugar. And, of course, the trains will still be running as long as there is no lightning in the immediate vicinity.
Train Cars, Muscle Cars & Classic Cars

Treat Dad to a Train Ride Through the Woods!
As a special gift for dad, his ticket is free when he’s accompanied by one or more coach passenger. (Offer not valid for caboose or locomotive tickets.) Dad’s ticket also comes with a small token of our appreciation and admiration from our team at the ticket pickup window.
Take a trip back in time as you board restored vintage railroad coaches and ride behind a first-generation diesel-electric locomotive through the woods of Shelby County! The Calera & Shelby Railroad runs on a portion of the former Alabama Mineral Railroad (L&N), established in 1891.
