Happy Birthday, America!
Celebrate the birthday of our nation with a good old-fashioned train ride! Throughout the day, learn about local military services and veteran organizations and enjoy a picnic lunch from food vendors available on the grounds. Wear red, white & blue as you ride the train with our American heroes!
Honoring Our Heroes
As our thanks to our American heroes, all active military and veterans receive a free ticket to ride when accompanied by at least one other passenger. We thank you all for your service. Please provide appropriate military ID for the complimentary ticket(s) at Will Call.
What to Expect:
- Date: Saturday, July 6th, 2024
- Departure Times: 10:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. (Central)
- Boarding: Begins 15 minutes prior to each departure.
- Ride Length: Approximately 75 minutes.
- Cars and seats are unassigned.
- Caboose and locomotive tickets may be available.
- Purchase tickets in advance online.
- Walkup purchases may be made at the Calera Depot prior to boarding on the day of the event, if tickets remain available.
